Following the last renewal of the Board of Directors in May 2008, also working committees which provide a means of democratic participation in governance of the cooperative have undergone a process of reorganization. A total of 12 active committees involving 75 people including Councillors and members engaged in various fields of strategic interest to the cooperative. A commission is "The Cultural Events Committee, recreation and sport" consists of nine members: seven members and two members of the Board of Directors (Monica Malaguti - Director and Deputy Coordinator and Vice President Raffaele oil that also covers the role Coordinator of the Commission). The main activities carried out with dedication by members of the committee that meets bimonthly with some frequency, are the preliminary analysis of requests for sponsorship and support coming from local associations and organizing gatherings (often in the form of tours / excursions) addressed to the members of the Cooperative. Are many requests for support that come to the attention of the cooperative, particularly in this period of economic stagnation, cultural activities (exhibitions, theaters, concerts, etc. ..) can no longer rely on the same government grants in the past and therefore are addressed individuals, amateur sports associations often rely on the work of volunteers who give their time and loving it: but to buy material, participate in leagues and enjoy the playgrounds are economic resources and the contribution of individuals is necessary to keep the lines of enrollment of boys at a level accessible to all. The Commission has the task of evaluating the requests received, particularly by establishing the seriousness of the applicant, that there is a spatial congruence between the applicant group and the municipalities in which the Cooperative operates and where its members reside, and it estimates the possible positive effects in terms of social and aggregation of the proposed event. In 2009, the Commission has assessed applications, bringing the attention of the President, justifying their choices. Thanks also to the contribution of the cooperative, cultural activities, social activities and sports have been achieved. A special mention goes to the Cooperative Group Cycling Ansaloni that 30 years from now joins the cooperative members who share a passion for the pedals and fatigue. This year reached the record number of 42 members, increasing admissions cycle to meetings and getting a respectable position in the charts UISP. The enthusiasm with which members of the Commission participating in the activities is very noticeable how few of them carry on. For example Ingarda Alexander, the youngest member of the Committee said: "Whenever I receive a notice convening the meeting of the Commission I have a feeling of joy for me is opportunity for discussion with people who have great experience of life and become aware of reality in the territory unknown to me; cooperative spirit strikes me that the staff of this Commission: they embody the values of cooperation, namely cooperation and sociability, initiative and search for the "common good", all values that are difficult to find in modern society. The possibility of being part of this Commission, and in general this cooperation, allow me to confront people with simple, humble, honest, and I respect deeply. " Angel kids, very active member of the cooperative already strong previous experience in other Boards of Labour, said: "Since last year the Commission and I personally believe very satisfactory participation in the work because it allows me to know different realities and the many groups exist on territory and did not know that even thought could exist. Joining the Commission gives me the opportunity to help with my active contribution, the Associations of Bologna and Province working with activities aimed at people of all ages. For me it is a source of satisfaction to think that my work is that of cooperation contribute to helping the needs of those who, like me, work for others. " Join the Commission's work since 2005 Carla Barbieri said: "Participation in this activity gives me the opportunity to be informed about the many activities of the cooperative, and the area where I live with my family. The contribution that port within the Commission is modest, but I feel I received a personal enrichment and a positive charge that makes me feel good. " Councillor Monica Malaguti, former Deputy Coordinator of the Commission even in the last term, has reconfirmed its commitment because, says: "I especially like the feeling of participation and heterogeneous composition experience, age and personal experience, I believe that what unites us is the recognition of the value of participation. I think that thanks to the decisions of the various components are enriched with more knowledge because more people are together for me to add value to the decision of an individual. Listening to multiple voices gives the opportunity to learn different aspects, for example in relation to local knowledge and local associations of the Province of Bologna, Bologna districts. Any contribution of individual components allows for a more complete view of the various issues that must be borne in mind before taking a decision. Participants are available to make their contribution in decision making and it's nice to hear the sharing of ideas and creative staff and the contribution to each proposal or request when we are called to express an opinion. I like to see the results of the choices made by the Commission, for example when meeting Cooperative logo on a brochure. I had fun and I learned the joy and the desire to be together in the members who participated in the trips that we help to promote. I like the atmosphere of mutual respect and civility that you breathe during the meetings. " The Commission will continue its work throughout this term, but in future it hopes to expand participation in the work to other members, particularly young people, to keep up the enthusiasm of the components and ensure the transmission of values and principles of cooperation to new generations.
